Art is more than an image or performance. Artists lead everday lives in which their experiences are the same as everyone else's. We aren't always cool. Of course, there are those "moments" which truly are art moments, like when A C stood up in meeting and declared "This group has got to offer chances to get to the inside of me. I have deep, burning concepts that need to expressed! I got to get to the inside of ME!!!"

Then, there was Shelly's group whose art performances included tying one of the women to a lamp post with her cell phone strapped to her side. Every few minutes, someone would dial the number and she would struggle to get to it, which she couldn't.
